Governors Club Unveils Newly Reconstructed 18-Hole Course

Only eight months after announcing they were breaking ground on two reconstructed holes and upgraded tee boxes, the Governors Club in Brentwood, Tenn., will unveil the newly renovated Arnold Palmer Signature Course on June 22, 2007, at a members-only tournament.

Tennessee State Parks has introduced a new website for its Tennessee Golf Trail. The new portal (www.tngolftrail.net) displays rates, course descriptions and getaway packages to help golfers plan their next visit to one of 13 courses in the Volunteer State.

Bergin to Design Another Course at Fairvue Plantation

The golf course at Nashville's Fairvue Plantation has been so well received the developers of the city's only lakefront community have decided to build another 18 holes. That task will be given to Fairvue Plantation designer Bill Bergin, who recently agreed to make the new Foxland Golf Course his latest original work. Construction is scheduled to begin late this fall and the course will be open for play in the spring of 2007.
