I tend to travel a lot to play golf. For years, my vehicles have been old Volkswagens and a sporty Datsun fastback coupe. These suffice for another golfer and me. A third person can be squeezed into the VWs, sharing the back seat with a bag of clubs. The Datsun is strictly a two-seater.

Washington Rallies Past Oregon in PNGA Cup
The final round of the PNGA Cup on the Jack Nicklaus Signature course at Pronghorn Club in Bend, Ore., began with an unlikely leader and 24 points up for grabs in singles matches. As play began it seemed as if first-day leader Idaho would be competing with the defending champion Oregon team for the title in the third annual version of the tournament.

Juneau Golf Project Takes Major Step Forward
On Monday night, January 10, 2005, the Juneau City and Borough Assembly unanimously approved a 35-year lease for city land that will allow Totem Creek Inc. to pursue financing to build an 18-hole golf course in Alaska's capital city.
