Weiskopf Course Opens at Adam's Rib Ranch

On August 11th, the Adam's Mountain Country Club opened for play. The course is the centerpiece of Adam's Rib Ranch, a private golf and ranch estate community in Eagle, Colo. Nearly 500 members and guests turned out to celebrate the milestone.

"This grand opening not only celebrated the opening of the Weiskopf course, but marked the first phase of completion of the Adam's Rib Ranch vision," said Fred Kummer, developer of Adam's Rib Ranch. Following a brief press conference with Kummer, Weiskopf and general manager Joe Cranston, the course architect conducted a short golf clinic at the driving range. After Weiskopf's demonstration, members and guests joined him on a tour of the 18-hole course. Accompanied by director of golf Eric Bradley, Weiskopf described his thoughts and ideas on the design and characteristics of the course.

Guests were smitten by the beauty of Adam's Rib Ranch as Weiskopf described the unique features of each hole. The 7,200-yard layout, which meanders through the Brush Creek Valley and contains eight man-made lakes, integrates Weiskopf's ability to create challenging courses and complement natural landscaping and aesthetics. The course is augmented by a driving range and practice facilities.
