USGA Announces Special Holiday Offer for 2011 U.S. Open Tickets
Holiday shoppers looking for the right gift the golfers on their list can purchase tickets for the 2011 U.S. Open Championship, to be played June 13-19 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
A free commemorative hat clip-ball marker set from the United States Golf Association will be mailed to all 2011 U.S. Open ticket buyers who take advantage of this special offer and purchase before January 3, 2011. Grounds tickets start at $50 daily and are $450 weekly, while Trophy Club tickets start at $75 daily and are $725 for the week.
Tickets will be mailed in early May. However, the hat clip-ball marker set will be mailed in time to wrap for the holidays for your favorite golfer if ordered before December 18.
New for 2011 is the 1895 Club, an individual hospitality ticket option starting at $250. Located alongside Congressional's fifth fairway, the 1895 Club will feature an upgraded dining menu with breakfast, a buffet lunch with hot entrees, afternoon snacks and full bar service throughout the day, all included in the price of the ticket.

Each buyer is permitted to purchase up to four tickets for each day. All tickets include complimentary general parking and shuttle transportation to and from the championship entrance.
The 2011 U.S. Open will mark the first time the championship has been played in the Washington, D.C., area in 14 years and the third time that Congressional Country Club has hosted the national championship. Ken Venturi won the 1964 U.S. Open by four strokes over Tommy Jacobs, and Ernie Els won the 1997 championship by one stroke over Colin Montgomerie.
The U.S. Open has sold out for 24 consecutive years.
