Upham Wins Rosauers |

For the first time in its 20-year history, the Rosauers Open in Spokane was won by an amateur. Cody Upham of Columbia-Edgewater Country Club in Portland birdied his last hole at Indian Canyon to make history and take home the title. Upham earned the amateur maximum of $650.
Upham led the tournament from start to finish, posting rounds of 62-65-69 for a 17-under-par total of 196.
Birk Nelson of Diamond Woods Golf Club in Monroe, Ore., and Casey McCoy of Oregon's Hood River Golf Club finished tied for second at 197. Nelson fired a 61 in the final round to tie the competitive course record at the 6,255-yard, par-71 Indian Canyon course. Nelson and McCoy each earned $9,175.
2005 champion Ryan Benzel of Seattle Golf Club and 2006 champion Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club in Blaine, Wash., finished tied for fourth a stroke back at 198.
