Update on The Crossings at Carlsbad

The city of Carlsbad and KemperSports have launched The Crossings at Carlsbad's new website, http://www.thecrossingsatcarlsbad.com. The long-awaited and highly anticipated 18-hole golf course is slated to open to the public in August.
The new website, designed for easy navigation, features golf course and clubhouse information; course layout and hole-by-hole descriptions; a page highlighting course architect Greg Nash; information regarding special events and outings; and a range of other course-related content and graphics. Through the site's interactive components, visitors will be able to book tee times, group tournaments or special events online, as well as purchase online gift cards. By joining The Crossings at Carlsbad's online e-club, visitors will be notified of green fees and tee-time availability.
"The new website allows us to offer the public a unique look at The Crossings at Carlsbad," said Jeff Perry, KemperSports' general manager at the course. "We're also excited that the website will give the public the ability to make online tee times in the near term."
In anticipation of The Crossings at Carlsbad's debut, visitors will be entered into a drawing to win a complimentary foursome and VIP prize package to play the opening week this summer.
Developed and owned by the city of Carlsbad, The Crossings at Carlsbad boasts an 18-hole, Greg Nash-designed golf course. The 400-acre property winds through coastal terrain highlighted by views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding shoreline. The layout is blessed with massive pines, oaks and sycamore trees, with the course featuring Bermudagrass turf. Upon completion, a 23,000-square-foot clubhouse will contain a golf shop, banquet facilities, a dining room equipped with a full-service kitchen and an outdoor deck with ocean views. A fully-lighted practice facility and public trails that link to the city's extensive Trail System will complement the golf course.
