Tyco & ADT to Sponsor Season-Ending LPGA Tournament

On May 17th, the Ladies Professional Golf Association announced it will wrap up the 2001 season in West Palm Beach, Florida, with the Tyco/ADT Championship, the LPGA Tour’s end-of-the-year event.
ADT Security Services Inc.’s multi-million-dollar title sponsorship and West Palm Beach’s Trump International Golf Club as the site were officially announced by LPGA Commissioner Ty M. Votaw and IMG Chairman-CEO, Mark H. McCormack. Also on hand were Palm Beach County Commissioner Carol Roberts, developer Donald J. Trump, and ADT President Michael Snyder.
LPGA veteran Michelle McGann, who lives in West Palm Beach, discussed the Tyco/ADT Championship, which features the top-30 players on the tour. The event will be held November 15-18, 2001 at Trump International Golf Club.
