Three Maryland Courses for Sale

Two courses that are consistently ranked among "The Top 100 Places to Play" by Washington Golf Monthly are on the market. Fairway Advisors will be overseeing the sales of the Maryland courses: Glade Valley Golf Club in Walkersville and The Links at Challedon in Mt. Airy.

"These courses combined with Bear Creek Golf Club in Westminster, Maryland, are for sale by the same owner as a portfolio or individually," said Fairway Advisors president Jeff Davis. "The three courses are located within 15 miles of each other, offering marketing synergies and economies to scale."

While there is no asking price for either course, Glade Valley Golf Club was recently appraised for $5 million. It has since undergone significant improvements to its overall conditioning and maintenance. The Links at Challedon has undergone similar improvements, and was appraised for $5.3 million.
