Tanglewood CC in Ohio to be Sold at Auction
Tanglewood Country Club in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, will be sold at a court-ordered auction in early June. Opened in 1967, the facility, during better financial times, hosted the PGA Tour's Cleveland Open, the Ohio Open and the LPGA Babe Zaharias Classic.
Tanglewood Country Club is located in Geauga County. In addition to the 18-hole course designed by William F. Mitchell, the property includes a 27,500-square-foot clubhouse with a commercial kitchen, several dining areas, a banquet facility accommodating up to 300, golf shop, snack bar, three-room office area, fitness and locker rooms, spas and pools.
The course is irrigated by a virtually unlimited supply of free irrigation water. "The property's strong investment potential, combined with the attractive design of the course and versatility of the club house, make it evident that this auction presents an amazing opportunity for buyers," said Douglas Walton, auctioneer/broker with United Country - Walton Realty & Auction Co., LLC, who will conduct the auction.
The auction will take place on-site at the Tanglewood Country Club (8745 Tanglewood Trail, Chagrin Falls, Ohio) on June 6 at 12 p.m. The property will be open for inspection on June 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Additional details and Terms and Conditions can be found at www.TanglewoodAuction.com or by calling 419/294-0007.
