Stonebridge Meadows Honored

Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”) and Stonebridge Meadows Golf Club have announced that the eight-year-old, Randy Heckenkemper-designed layout in Fayetteville, Ark., is included in Golf Digest’s listing of “America’s Greatest Golf Courses,” Best-in-State rankings.

Established in 1966, America's 100 Greatest Golf Courses is the oldest ranking in the game and is based on the extensive play and scrutiny of thousands of courses by Golf Digest's evaluation panel. The America's 100 Greatest package, which also includes America's 100 Greatest Public Courses and Best-in-State rankings, appears in the May 2005 issue, on newsstands April 12.

Stonebridge Meadows was ranked as the 10th best course in the state among public and private facilities, and is one of only two public courses to appear in the top 10. The 7,150-yard layout was also awarded with 4 ½ stars in Golf Digest’s 2004 “Places to Play” guide, and is considered one of the jewels of the newly minted Natural State Golf Trail.
