Sea Trail Sponsors Food Drive to Help Local Families |
|
Sea Trail Golf Resort & Conference Center in Sunset Beach, N.C., is sponsoring a canned food drive for Brunswick Family Assistance. Now through Valentine’s Day, golfers donating three canned items will receive a play rate of $37 for the Jones course, $32 for the Maples course and $30 for the Byrd course.
This is the second year Sea Trail Golf Resort has conducted a food drive for Brunswick Family Assistance, raising more than 9,000 pounds of canned goods for the organization last year.
“We are pleased to be able to help those in need in our community again this year,” said Tom Plankers, president of golf at Sea Trail Resort & Conference Center. “We couldn’t think of a better way to give folks the opportunity to play our three championship courses at a special rate and help Brunswick County Assistance at the same time.”
So far this year, more than 3,000 pounds of canned goods have been collected, on pace to exceed last year’s total. For more information, call 800/546-5748 or visit www.seatrail.com.
