Roberts Wins on Champions Tour

Loren Roberts shot a 3-under 68 to complete a wire-to-wire victory in the Commerce Bank Championship. The Champions Tour event was held at the 7,082-yard Eisenhower Park Red Course in East Meadow, N.Y.

Roberts' 54-hole total of 12-under 201 was a stroke lower than Nick Price (65) and Lonnie Nielsen (66). The 53-year-old Roberts earned $240,000 for his first victory of the year on the senior circuit.

The win was Roberts' eighth on the over-50 tour, matching his career total on the PGA Tour.
