Riviera Nayarit in Mexico is Growing

Golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Robert Von Hagge, Jim Lipe (Nicklaus' head designer) and Percy Clifford are open at Riviera Nayarit in Mexico. By February 2008, two new golf courses designed by Greg Norman and Nicklaus will be ready for play, making the resort area one of Mexico's premier golf destinations.

Nayarit's appeal to leading designers and golfers stems from its fine year-round weather, ocean views, a backdrop of tropical forests and rugged mountains, and a variety of landscapes. The area also offers some excellent all-inclusive packages:

Apple Vacations is featuring a golf package which includes four nights' accommodations at Vallarta Palace, a gourmet meal plan, round-trip airport transfers, a $25 voucher toward one round of golf per adult with choice of three courses: Vista Nicklaus, Vista Weiskopf, and Marina Vallarta. The package also offers tours exploring Rancho Pancho on horseback, excursions of Channel Tour, City Tour and a trip on the Sunset Cruise. The package includes hotel taxes and is available through December 15, 2007. Double-occupancy rates are $589 per person. To book this package, visit www.applevacations.com.
