Rain Wracks Puerto Rico Open
While weather is having an affect on the WGC-CA Championship in Miami, it has also played a part on the other PGA Tour event underway this week, the $3.5 million Puerto Rico Open.
Heavy rains halted yesterday's first round after only 18 players had teed off. After six inches of rain fell on the 7,526-yard Trump International course by the afternoon, the opening round was postponed until today.
On Friday morning, after just 25 minutes into the delayed opening round, officials halted play once again. They'll try to re-start the event at 2:20 p.m. ET. of the Puerto Rico Open resumed early this morning, it was again delayed by inclement weather.
