Play Golf at Kenny Rogers’ Personal Course

Atlanta-based Affiniti Golf is making an offer that some golfers might find too hard to pass. The management company has made arrangements for only 12 golfers a day to play the golf course at Beaver Dam Farms. The estate on the outskirts of Athens, Ga., was built by country-and-western music star, Kenny Rogers.

Rogers lived at the estate for many years, and entertained celebrities from around the world at his estate house. The grounds also contain Rogers’ personal regulation-length golf course, an equestrian center, guest cottages, a lake house and fishing. According to Affiniti, the course is kept in top condition as more than $1 million a year is spent on its upkeep. Also adding to its pristine shape is that the layout often goes weeks without anyone ever playing it.

Beaver Dam Farms’ new ownership has granted Affiniti exclusive rights to allow up to 12 golfers per day to play the course. The “green fee” is $250 per person. The price includes all the golf you want to play, a continental breakfast, lunch, and complimentary refreshments. Golfers are encouraged to arrive early, stay late, and play 72 holes or to their hearts’ content.
