Palm Beach Gardens GC Getting a Redesign

Officials with Palm Beach Gardens Golf Course have chosen Dusenberry Designs to renovate the municipal layout. The project, which began June 1, will continue until November.

The architects, Tad Burnett and Matt Dusenberry, have over 35 years experience working on over 50 golf courses around the world. The two former senior designers for Greg Norman's firm will take a hands-on approach with the renovation.

Their design concept will adapt to the unique characteristics, landforms, climate and vegetation, with the goal is of creating a memorable course for Palm Beach County residents.

"We are very pleased to be selected as the consulting architects for the renovation of the Gardens golf course which has a strong reputation as one of the top public courses in Palm Beach County." said Burnett. "Our goal is to maintain the feel and identity of the course while, at the same time, improving on what players have enjoyed for years."

The renovations will focus on improving the infrastructure and playing surfaces. Also involved are a new irrigation system, upgraded drainage and new turf throughout.

"The city of Palm Beach Gardens has a dedicated team of managers, and they have chosen to partner with an experienced group of contractors and consultants. It's a great opportunity for us to be part of that team," added Dusenberry.
