New Rees Jones-Designed Course Opens in Utah

Victory Ranch Golf Club is part of a new development on the outskirts of Park City, Utah, and 45 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport. The private, Rees Jones-designed opened for member play August 8th.

The course is located within Victory Ranch Club, a residential community that spans more than 5,600 acres in Utah's Summit and Wasatch counties. The property involves mountain wilderness areas, a wildlife refuge, and a private five-mile stretch of the Provo River.

The 7,599-yard, all-bentgrass layout offers an average of seven tees per hole. The course rises to the high plateaus of Flat Top Peak where, at an elevation of 7,000 feet, golfers enjoy 20-mile vistas of the Uinta Mountains, Deer Valley Ski Area and Jordanelle Reservoir.

In addition to golf, members and residents have access to the Freestone Lodge, many outdoor activities and various indoor amenities within the development. An official grand opening will be held August 21-22, with Jones in attendance.
