New National Sales Manager Named at Golfers Incorporated


January 20, 2011. Golfers Incorporated, a national golf brands and media company, today announced that Steve Sacks has been named national sales manager.

Golfers Incorporated is a family of companies specializing in national golf product development, television and video production, media advertising and global distribution. Well-known products brought to market by the company's media division, The Golf Agency, include the Orlimar Trimetal, the SkyCaddie, AJ Golf, F2 Golf, Roger Fredericks Flexibility and many others. In 2010, one of the company's products, the Tour Striker training club endorsed by Gary McCord, was introduced. The company also launched marketing campaigns for the Vharness trainer, endorsed by Rocco Mediate and Jimmy Ballard and the OptiShot home golf simulator with Roger Maltbie.

Sacks has been in the golf industry since 1974 and in the last 30-plus years he has been a pioneer in golf marketing and manufacturing. Sacks was a co-founder of Goldwin Golf. With Goldwin, Sacks oversaw the complete marketing effort that included public relations, advertising development, advertising placement and all point-of-purchase materials. He also designed and built a successful sales organization consisting of inside and outside sales representatives that sold tens of thousands of a revolutionary golf product well before the first production piece was manufactured.

In 1996 Sacks became director of sales and marketing for Carbite Golf. While there, sales went from $1 million to $19 million in a four-year period. At Carbite he was heavily involved in direct response sales, infomercials, direct mail and wholesale sales, and he also successfully re-introduced Daiwa, into the U.S. market.

In mid-2007 Sacks became National Sales Manager at Rife Putters. Under Sacks' guidance, Rife went from 16 to 40 outside sales representatives and sales to the largest golf retailers increased between 200 and 300 percent.

With Golfers Incorporated, Sacks will focus on global retail sales and distribution for existing and future golf products. Current products include Tour Striker, F2 Golf and Energy Athletic™ Golf.
