KemperSports has announced the hiring of Nate Mather as general manager of The Club at Fairvue Plantation in Gallatin, Tenn. Mather has more than 25 years' experience overseeing high-end country clubs, most recently as the GM of Glen Flora Country Club in Waukegan, Ill.

During his tenure at Glen Flora, Mather was responsible for increasing membership by nearly 30 percent at the 100-year-old private equity club. Prior to Glen Flora, Mather served as GM of Richland Country Club in Nashville.

"Nate has broad experience managing private clubs and delivering great member and guest experience," said Steve Skinner, chief executive officer for KemperSports. "We are excited that he has joined the strong management team in place at Fairvue Plantation."

"The Club at Fairvue Plantation is a leading private club in Nashville with a world-class golf course," said Mather. "I am proud to be leading the staff at Fairvue to provide a first-rate guest experience for our members and guests."

Designed in 2004 by Bergin Golf Design, the par-72 golf course at the Club at Fairvue Plantation is complemented by a 30,000-square-foot clubhouse that includes dining areas, men's and women's locker rooms and a family-friendly Junior Olympic swimming pool.
