Heaney Heads New California Alliance for Golf

The California Alliance for Golf has named the members of its 2006 Board of Directors. These individuals represent golfers and allied organizations committed to the betterment of golf economically, environmentally and recreationally throughout the state.

The alliance serves as a liaison to state, regional and local governments, and to the public at large, increasing the awareness of economic contributions and positive environmental practices in the California golf industry. It also serves as an educational resource and solution center on key initiatives surrounding golf, from environmental awareness and water conservation to growth of the game.
