Hawk’s Landing Golf Club in Orlando

Hawk’s Landing Golf Club re-opened in 1999 following a course-wide remodel of Robert E. Cupp II. The course wraps around three sides of the 2,000-room Orlando World Center Marriott resort complex. The beautiful layout, adorned with water hazards on 14 holes, is a public venue open to resort guests and golfers visiting the entertainment-rich Orlando area.

The layout extends 6,800 yards from the back tees, and boasts a rating of 73.2 and a slope of 134. The revised course differs considerably from its previous incarnation, a Joe Lee-designed track that opened in 1986. Water enters play on 15 holes, with every hole on the back nine imperiled by water hazards of some form. Also imperiling par is nearly 100 bunkers.
