Golf Warehouse Launches First-Ever Downloadable Golf Lesson Series

The Golf Warehouse, the world’s largest online golf store, has launched the "PING Lesson Center" featuring 24 downloadable golf-tip vignettes on www.tgw.com.
This is known to be the first time a golf e-tailer has offered such an extensive, tee-to-green instruction series online. The 3½ to 5-minute video segments, produced in cooperation with PING, are downloadable to golfers' I-Pod, Zune, Windows Media, Quicktime and Real Player.
The tutorials feature Scott Davies, former Senior Instructor and Academy Director for David Leadbetter in Spain and Switzerland, current Director Of Instruction and Head Professional at Karsten Creek (home of the Oklahoma State Cowboys), and one of only a handful of PGA professionals to win an award from England's Duke of York.
Lessons are presented in several easy-to-understand categories:
1. Set-up: foot positioning, anterior and lateral posture, neutral balanced grip, ball/club orientation, correctly fitted clubs.
2. Faults, Causes and Cures: losing body angles, sway and slice, pull or slice, push or hook, early release, fat and thin shots.
3. Swing Fundamentals: stabilizing lower body, powerful torso twist, arm and club sequence, arm and shaft plane, body sequence, superior balance, shaping shots, effective practice.
4. Short-Game Secrets: putting, chipping, bunker and pitching basics.
"Our customers want something short, to the point and very informative by one of the world's most respected instructors at a fraction of what they'd normally pay to take a lesson in person," says Mark Marney, CEO of TGW.com. "And its portability means you can listen to it at your leisure - waiting in an airport, in a taxi, wherever."
"It's gratifying that through TGW.com, PING is offering assistance to golfers by clearly communicating the fundamentals of the modern golf swing," says John Solheim, Chairman and CEO of PING. "Scott Davies presents information and tips in unique ways that help golfers lower their scores and enjoy the game more."

The PING Lesson Center is just one example why TGW.com is so popular. The company prides itself in providing pleasant, no-hassle shopping experiences at competitive prices, offering more than 25,000 high-quality, brand-name products from clubs, apparel and accessories to everything in between from major manufacturers like Callaway, Nike, PING, Taylor Made and Titleist.
