Forewinds Plans to Acquire Sterling Country Club
Forewinds Hospitality LLC, a division of Sawyer Realty Holdings, has announced its intentions to acquire Sterling Country Club in Sterling, Mass.
Located approximately an hour outside of Boston, the private, 1991-built club features an 18-hole course designed by Michael Hurdzan. The layout is complemented by a clubhouse and banquet facility. Pending satisfaction of certain closing conditions set forth in the agreement, the deal may be finalized by mid-December.
“Everyone at Forewinds is excited about adding Sterling to our portfolio of golf destination properties. The course is championship level and impeccably maintained,” says Ron Winarick, managing director of Forewinds. “Our company mission is to create quality destinations, and we see a great deal of potential at Sterling to create a signature Forewinds property of great golf for members and unmatched hospitality, dining and catering services.”
Forewinds Hospitality LLC is the hospitality division of Sawyer Realty Holdings, LLC, a property management company based in Needham, Mass. Sawyer Realty Holdings manages residential properties throughout the East Coast, from Boston to Miami.
