Centennial Golf Club To Open in May

Centennial Golf Club in Medford, Ore., will be the site of a grand opening on Saturday, May 20th. Designed by two-time PGA Tour winner and 1977 U.S. Amateur champion, John Fought, Centennial features a 7,323-yard, par-72 layout. Other Fought designs or co-designs in his home state of Oregon include Pumpkin Ridge (Ghost Creek and Witch Hollow), Crosswater and Meadows Course at Sunriver Resort, Langdon Farms Golf Club, and The Reserve Golf Club.
“We are all very excited to announce the grand opening dates and look forward to the opportunity to have everyone play and experience Centennial Golf Club,” said Dave Goff, vice president of operations for OB Sports. The management company will oversee the operations at Centennial Golf Club and the neighboring nine-hole Quail Point Golf Course. “The golf course at Centennial will be highlighted by spectacular views, impeccable course conditions and a unique ‘classic design’ that is unlike any other in the region.”
Green Fees & Programs
Centennial Golf Club has unveiled its 2006 green fee rates and annual club programs. Daily green fees will be $62 Monday through Thursday, and $72 Friday through Sunday and holidays. Preferred rates will be offered to residents of Jackson, Josephine, Siskiyou & Klamath counties. For details, visit www.centennialgolfclub.com.
Discounted rates will also be offered to golfers who enroll in either of the two Centennial frequent-player programs: Presidents’ Club members and 2006 Centennial cardholders. “Both the Presidents’ Club and the Centennial Card have been very well received by area golfers,” said Vince Domenzain, Centennial’s general manager/director of golf. “It is truly rewarding to see so many golfers in the Rogue Valley region enrolling in these programs which offer a tremendous savings throughout the year.”
The Presidents Club is an alternative to traditional memberships as enrollees benefit from unlimited green fees without the burden of initiation fees, dues or assessments. In addition, Presidents Club enrollees receive complimentary use of the practice facility and can make tee times up to 14 days in advance. Additional benefits of the Presidents Club include:
- Unlimited rounds of golf for enrollees of the Presidents Club (cart fee applies);
- Unlimited guest rounds at preferred-guest green fees for up to three accompanied guests per visit (guest green fees are $38 Monday-Thursday, and $43 Friday-Sunday and holidays);
- Tee-time reservations up to 14 days in advance;
- Complimentary tee gift;
- One complimentary tournament;
- Complimentary use of the practice facility;
- 20 percent savings on golf apparel; 10 percent savings on golf clubs and accessory items in Centennial’s golf shop (excludes sale merchandise);
- 2006 OGA Handicap;
- Preferred green fees at Quail Point GC;

The enrollment cost for the Presidents Club is $2,350 for a single, $3,150 for a couple, $3,650 for a family. Corporate Presidents Club packages are available for $7,950 and include all the benefits of the Presidents Club for up to four designees. The 2006 Centennial Card is now on sale for just $149. Cardholders receive preferred green fees, guest privileges and other benefits, including:

- Unlimited rounds of golf at cardholder rate for cardholder (cardholder green fees are $33, Monday-Thursday, and $38 Friday-Sunday and holidays);
- Unlimited guest rounds at preferred guest green fees for up to three accompanied guests per visit (guest green fees are $38, Monday-Thursday, and $43, Friday-Sunday and holidays);
- Tee-time reservations up to three days in advance;
- One complimentary tournament;
- Complimentary tee gift;
- 10 complimentary passes for the practice facility (retail value: $50);
- 20-percent savings on golf apparel; 10-percent savings on golf clubs and accessory items in Centennial’s golf shop (excluding sale merchandise);
- 2006 Handicomp Handicap (OGA Handicap – additional $20);
- Preferred green fees at Quail Point GC;
- Automatic enrollment in Bonus Points rewards program. Earn points for dollars spent on green fees - when reaching 500 points, cardholders earn a FREE ROUND!
