Browne & Cook Set Pace in Dick's Sporting Goods Open

Olin Browne and John Cook each recorded 7-under 65s to share the leaderboard's top spot in the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. The $1.85 million, 54-hole Champions Tour event got underway Friday at En-Joie Golf Club in Endicott, N.Y.

The 55-year-old Browne, winner of the 2011 U.S. Senior Open, had a spotless outing with seven birdies, while Cook recorded eight birdies and a bogey. The 56-year-old Cook has nine victories on the Champions Tour.

Langer, the runaway leader in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup points' race thanks to four victories this year - including two majors, carded five birdies.
