A new golf course under construction in North Korea will feature a hole that virtually assures a hole-in-one. The par-3 14th hole at Diamond Country Club in the Geumgang Mountains contains a bowl-shaped green that guarantees an ace for any tee shot that lands on it.
“The green won’t be used every day,” Chang Gi-dae, whose company is building the course, told South Korea’s Chosun Ilbo newspaper. “We plan to use it on special days or for special people.”
Adding to the tradition of Diamond Country Club will be the No. 7 hole, a 1,004-yard par-7.
